What we do

Grow 73 is a charity aiming to help people of all ages and abilities to grow their own
produce, learn how to lead more sustainable lives and support local biodiversity.

The Garden as a community hub/space 

Growing activities; social events and
activities; open to the whole community;
inclusive - Latest plans, pics etc.

Education

Lifelong learning and skills development;
covers work with schools and young
people; with volunteers; upskilling and
employability skills.

Partnership with the community 

Outreach into the community; Beeline; in
Bloom; befriending project being developed
with LEAP; Greening Camglen Network.

About Grow 73 

Grow 73 was established as an unincorporated constituted community group in early 2015 and was incorporated as a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation on the 25th May 2018 (Scottish Charity Number SCO48411). Grow 73’s work is overseen by a Board of Trustees and delivered by a team of dedicated volunteers.

Aims & Objectives 

To advance education in relation to gardening, local food
growing, healthy eating, composting, and matters relating to
the environment, biodiversity and living more sustainably.

Find an opportunity to volunteer

You can volunteer as a trustee on the board of trustees and or  help us with the development of our community garden and the work in our community. To join you have to be from the Rutherglen or Cambuslang area.
